This will be the major fundraiser for the Pre School with the proceeds going towards the purchase of a smart board. The day will start at 3pm with heaps of activities on offer. Organisers are looking to make the day have broad appeal for families with an action packed program.
There will be music, market stalls, amusements rides, face painting, helium balloons and lots of home cooking with a traditional ‘bake sale’. A boxing demonstration will be staged by the Pro Roughy gym and there will be some fun with games such as three legged races, egg and spoon races, a tug of war championships and celebrity water dunking (not to be missed).
Any Christmas Fair would not be complete without Santa Clause who will put in an appearance, including an opportunity for those all-important Santa photos. To complete the Christmas theme there will be carols and a Christmas movie (Saving Santa) on the big screen.
There will be food, food and more food - lamb and gravy rolls, hot chips, sausage sizzle, corn on the cob, fairy floss, popcorn and slushies.
Local businesses have thrown their support behind the event with sponsorship which will be acknowledged on the day. An entry fee of $5 per family or $2 per person will get you all of the above, as well as entry into the lucky door prizes. You can increase your chances of winning by purchasing more tickets at the gate, with prizes drawn every 30 minutes.
The organising committee have put in a lot of work and hope the community will get behind the day, have some fun and enjoy sharing the spirit of Christmas.
