More than six years ago, Chris Hietbrink joined the Guyra community of St Vincent de Paul. She has given steadfastly over that period, in a number of ways, firstly by supporting the Vinnies Centre, where the Vincentians sell donated goods to raise funds for the Society’s support of those in need. Secondly, Chris has been tireless in the St Marys of the Angels group which distributes assistance. This distribution arm of the Society, a “conference”, will be in recess until the end of January 2015. From now until the end of January, support from the Society will not be available from “The Hub’ or the Vinnies Centre.  On January 17th, a new conference group will be formed and Chris will be able to take her well-earned break.
