The team is made up of Ryan Williams, Caitlin Montague, Angus Dullaway, Harry Purvis, Pacie Mulligan, Summer Tibbs and Kayden Mulligan.
The Giants have won new pop up soccer goals for the Guyra Soccer Club and each player will also receive a certificate, so congratulations guys.
Although not Giant in size (I’m pretty sure we had some of the smallest players in the competition in our team), this little team with big hearts always showed up, put 100% effort in and had fun doing so.
I am very proud of the team and could see much improvement over the course of the season from all of the players who were really starting to play well together as a team.
Each player brings something to the team:
Ryan is a great all-rounder who puts in the effort and thinks ahead; Caitlin always gives 100% and is our best chaser always staying on the ball; Harry has great ball control and accuracy and scored many of our goals; Kayden improved massively and really came to enjoy soccer by the end of the season (her face lighting up every time she kicked the ball was priceless); Angus was always eager and put in lots of effort – especially when it came to his trademark big kicks; and Pacie and Summer showed great potential getting more and more involved as the season progressed and their confidence grew.
It was a great season for the Giants and we are all looking forward to next season.
