IT’S been 20 years since the Tingha Tigers Rugby League Club has had junior team in its ranks, but thanks to the efforts of local Sharon Gates and a NSW Sport & Recreation grant, more 100 Tingha youngsters are now playing in the region’s Saturday morning minor league competition.

The club received a $2,000 grant through the NSW Government’s Sport and Recreation Facility Program to assist with the purchase of uniforms and training for coaches.
Member for Northern Tablelands Adam Marshall said he was very pleased to help secure funding to get Tingha juniors back on the footy field.
"It’s a long time since Tingha Tigers have had junior teams in the minor league competition so I’m very pleased to be able to help," Mr Marshall said.
