Guyra’s rep players travelled to Inverell on Sunday as part of the Armidale and District rep teams. We had five rep players, one in the Under 12’s that being Benjamin McCormack and in the Under 14’s there was Tyson Burey, Zac Atkins, Corby Kliendienst and Adam Lennon.

The Under 12’s had a resounding victory with Benjamin McCormack performing well, opening the bowling and taking 2-17 off five overs. He also scored 1 not out in the batting department.

The Under 14’s bowled first against Inverell and restricted them to 183 runs off 50 overs. Zac Atkins opened the bowling and took 1-29 off 10 overs. Tyson Burey also bowled well taking 1-19 off a five over stint. When it was the reps side turn to bat Corby Kliendienst and Adam Lennon opened the batting and put on 98 runs for the first wicket, Adam scoring 38 runs Corby scored 44 runs. This opening stand set up an easy victory for the Under 14’s, good to see the Guyra boys performing well.
