Guyra Rugby League would like to thank everyone involved in running the supporting Rugby League this year.

Apart from having a successful year on the paddock rugby league was also successful in raising over $8,000 for the McGrath Foundation.

We would like to thank all sponsors big and small, but especially the Royal Hotel, Jackson Livestock and Property, McLeod’s Butchery and Guyra Country Fresh Hot Bread for being major sponsors. Anyone interested in being a sponsor big or small can do so by contacting us at PO Box 235 or by ringing Terry Vidler on 0427792870.

We will be holding our AGM this Sunday October 25 at the Royal Hotel at 11am. Please anyone interested in being part of Senior Rugby League come along and give a hand to a small committee.

Our Annual Presentation night was held last Friday and was a successful and fun night for everyone who attended.

The awards were as follows:

League Tag

Highest Try Scorer Sheraya Johnson, Coaches Award: Jess Bokeyar, Hannah Archibald, Most Improved Emily Davis, Most Consistent Katie Lockwood, Best and Fairest Cath Richardson and Vicki Youman, Players Player Cath Richardson.

Juniors

Highest Try Scorer Ben Vidler, Highest Point Scorer Ben Vidler, Coaches Award Simon Porter and Brenton Griffin, Most Improved Ethan Kennedy, Best and Fairest Jamie Williams, Players Player Jamie Williams

Reserve Grade
