Well the Inaugural Top Of The Range Fours has been played and won and for all those that put in a mighty effort to get this carnival off the ground, I say job well done.

The two-day carnival put up some challenges to the carnival match committee but these challenges were over come and from all reports and comments from those that took part the weekend was a success.

Now to the results: 1st place went to the team of Jay Porter, Richard Clutterbuck, Chris Brodbeck and Reg Clutterbuck (Armidale City) with Five wins plus a margin of 51. 2nd place went to a composite team comprising of Todd Fuller, Chris Kliendienst, Dean Farrell and Braden Sole also with Five wins plus a margin of 49. These two teams were the only teams to have five wins. The other place getters were: 3rd place: R Berghofer, D Hungerford, J Barlow and S Barlow (Inverell RSM). Four wins plus 48. 4th place: J Adams, C Dawson, R Rees and D Crawford (Glen Innes). Four wins plus 38. 5th place: J Graham, G Graham, R Cross and J Williams. (Armidale City). Four wins plus 27.

There were teams from Guyra, Armidale City, Glen Innes, Gunnedah, Inverell East, Inverell RSM, Warialda, Walcha, Kootingal and two players from Armidale Ex Services.

I would like to thank all the sponsors, the bar staff and all the volunteers for all the effort put into making this Inaugural Carnival a success.

Now to this weekends Club Championships:

Open Singles: Robert Moore to play Norm Wilson marker Barry Presnell.

Until next week good health and good bowling.
