Many thanks to Richardson’s Hardware and Ag. for sponsoring the 4 BBB Par event held last Sunday. A total of 18 players contested the event with the winners on the day being Dom Hill and Colin Mulligan with +13. Runners up were Robert Walls and Warren McCowen with +12.Nearest the pin winners were Evan Sole on the 7th, Warren McCowen on the 10th and the longest drive on the 17th going to Ian Taylor.
A reminder to golfers that the club championships start on the 4th of Feb. and players must be members and have played 3 club games as golfing members in the past 12 months to qualify. One round of the championships must be played to become eligible for the handicap match play later in the year.
Upcoming events include an 18 hole Ambrose on Thursday 26th Jan. [Australia Day] from 11.30. This will be $15 per head which includes a sausage sizzle. Proceeds from the day will go towards building a bank behind the 12th green to stop flooding from the lagoon.
Next Sundays event will be a 2 person Ambrose at $10 (lunch not included] with the proceeds going to the hospital.
