Prize winners in Guyra Library’s Summer Reading Club, during the school holidays, were awarded their prizes by Council’s General Manager, David Cushway on Tuesday afternoon.
The winners were, Sophie Warner, Ragavi Jeyakumar, Kathleen Swinton, Sambavan Jeyakumar, Thurkka Jeyakumar, Dakota Adams, Libby Howey, Madilyn Howey and Tayla Mitchell.
We hope to see more children involved in the next Summer Reading Club as it is important that children continue reading throughout the holidays so they have not slipped back in their reading abilities when school resumes.
