I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of our students for the wonderful effort they put in at last Friday’s swimming carnival and for their fantastic behavior. You all represented the school beautifully!

School BBQ

Just a reminder that the school BBQ is on Thursday February 25 at 5.30pm. Please let the school know if your family is attending. We look forward to seeing you there.

Funding

The Minister for Education, Julia Gillard announced last Thursday that a number of schools would be added to the National Smarter Schools Partnerships. I am delighted to advise that Ben Lomond is one of the school to receive extra funding.

Bus Route Extension

We are still awaiting news from the Department of Transport regarding the extension of the school bus route. We will continue to lobby this application and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the school.
