Benefitting from Community Partnerships

30 Nov, 2009 01:03 PM
The Community Partnership Program was launched last financial year as yet another way the New England Credit Union (NECU) can give financial support to the communities in which we operate.

Five Guyra recipient organisations this week received cheques for last financial year, with Guyra Central School Parents and Citizens Association receiving $614.63. This was the second highest donation received out of 230 recipient organisations across the Credit Union’s network.

The Community Partnership Program assists community-based organisations with their fundraising activities through the members of the credit union. All members need to do is nominate one of the recipient organisations at no cost to the member.

Can Assist, Guyra Central School P & C, St Mary of the Angel’s P & F, Guyra ADRA Op-shop, Guyra Pony Club, Guyra Soccer Club, Ben Lomond War Memorial Hall Trust, Country Women’s Association and Guyra VRA Rescue Squad are all recipient organisations which you can nominate for your donation.

If you haven’t already done so, next time you are in the NECU branch let one of the team know which organisation you wish to support.

Any community organisation can take part in this program by registering. To discuss the Community Partnership Program or to register your organisation call in and see Louise or phone her on 6779 2630.
